My experience with wheels staying true has varied. I first had these 38s built front radial and rear 2x. Rear wasn't bad, but front needed regular tweaking (my LBS builder whined about that being the nature of radial lacing). Had them re-laced 2x front and 2x/3x rear, and they've been rock solid for several hundred miles.

1-2mm is usually not noticeable when riding.
You can check it yourself- just hold the bike up and spin the wheel while holding a straightedge or even your finger against the rim.
I have not noticed radial laced wheels going out of true any faster than crossed laced wheels. I think it depends on the quality of the build- how straight the wheel was as it was tensioned, how even the end tension is, and of course that it's high enough. The wheels I got built from FarSports were not tensioned high enough but they were even so it wasn't much work to tension them up.

I did a "57 mile" commute to and from work (took the very long way in and almost as long way home), getting a couple of nice northeastern US climbs and descents in. The wheels are great. Braking is not an issue at all.

Today was my first "hardcore" test of the wheels.
I did a 212Km ride with 3200m of climbing and some equal descending (some 180s and decreasing radius turns). Also, lots of wind.
The wind gusts did get my attention a few times, and I'd have to say that these probably require at least as much as my Reynolds DV32ULs, but not as much as the 46s (which stands to reason as they are 38s). Overall, the wheels performed extremely well. Braking on the descents was consistent and predictable with the supplied blue pads. I'm loving these wheels.

I put in an order for the FSC50-CM-25 through Smart. I asked for their new Basalt + high temp brake surface, and Smart says the FSC50-CM-25 can be built with this surface in ~20 days. So I've got about a month wait ahead of me. 1480g claimed weight, and I'll be sure to share actual weights and photos when they arrive.
I noticed something unexpected on my invoice. "Special: Sealed rim bed (no spoke holes inside)". I haven't seen this advertised by Farsports anywhere, so I was surprised to see this included. Yoeleo offers their "Special assembly technology" wheels without spoke holes in the rim bed, and I assume this is what the Farsports offering will be like. A brief explanation of how it works here.
Edit (4 July): Smart sent me some photos of my now-complete wheelset. He promised 20 days after payment (he did not specify if this was until completion of the build, or arrival at my door), and it's now been 13 days. He claims the actual built wheels are 1490g.
The shipment goes out today, so I should have them next week.

Try PM'ing kylefoo or looking up the contact info on wheelsfar.com. Far Sports is really not a custom wheel build shop though... I'm not sure I'd want to pay shipping both to and from Xiamen, China... Just buy the rims and have fairwheel bikes build it up for you.
