Does anyone have any photos of built wheels in the Grey or Silver options? I can only find photos of black rims built up online.

I am particularly interested in how they look with tyres and also once the brake tracks are worn.

Cheers

Until more thorough responses are gathered, this can help with a bit of imagination:

Not the best pic. But here's a snap of the front wheel on my commuter.

Rim have had about 6 months of use. The brake track just looks like any other rim when it's worn.

There is no wear on these, in fact they were never ridden, but here are the hard anodized wheels with tires mounted.

I bought Swiss Stop green pads and found that in the dry the ano on my black Archetypes remained virtually pristine for hundreds of miles. Then I rode them in the rain and most of the ano came off in about 10 minutes - no exaggeration.

I think if I were buying again I'd probably go grey, although I've not yet seen them in the flesh. They look like they'd age a bit more gracefully, and hopefully also show the dirt less than black.

The grey rim as a hint of green to it, like old school hard anodising.

Here's another grey. Not the best picture. They have ~1700 miles on them. The front has some spots of wear after riding in the rain/grit once or twice.

Another crappy image, but they are a greenish grey, especially up against the grey of the bike
