I'm looking to get a new frame, and have a few questions:

- When people talk about Chinese frames it's invariably the FM066sl. Is this purely because it is the lightest frame? Or does it have a tried and tested track record? Or a good blend between comfort and aggressiveness?
- Is it safe to say that all frames of a same model number are being made at the same factory and just sold through various outlets? Or do Dengfu, Hongfu and others manufacture their own using identical molds?
- Bar the minimal description on the manufacturer's web site, is there a site that describes in a bit more detail the difference of each frame? I must say I am a little intrigued by some of the more aero frames, but don't want to end up with a tri-bike.

There are threads already on this, please find the appropriate thread.

You're best bet for more information on the various Chinese frames is to read through the VeloBuild.com forum. There's some good information to be had there.
