Wheels are OK, but he should get some pedals and level the saddle.

I ride mountains all the time Pascal hence going for the Neutron Ultras.

I don't want carbon clinchers (don't see the point) and tubs are too much hassle when I'm in the middle of nowhere alone or guiding.

The saddle is perfect - it's just the camera angle I guess. The Romin should be flat in the middle third, which it is as it stands. Pedals might be a good idea though :)
