The much more important debate that doesn't get enough discussion on this board is: nutella vs peanut butter vs biscoff spread.
Which is the best for the budding cyclist?

To answer this, you have to define your criteria for judging "best".
Hope this helps.

For nutrition, peanut butter. for mental satisfaction, nutella.
problem with peanut butter is you need a beverage or you choke to death. nutella, I could eat that all day, no issues.

Almond Butter > any Peanut Butter.

Gentlemen, Nutella is death. It's two main ingredients are sugar and palm oil. Nutella contains 67% saturated fat and processed sugar by weight. That doesn't leave much room for Hazelnuts. The reason it is so popular is because we consumers are idiots. In fact the manufacturer is so full of shit that they lost a class action lawsuit and were forced to pay millions in damages and change their labelling and marketing practices. The stuff is garbage. If you actually are a cyclist, get some real food.
And yeah almond butter is pretty nice but I'll take peanut butter also as long as the only ingredient is peanuts.

Peanut butter on a teaspoon, dipped in to Milo.
Tastes like a peanut butter M&M, only better.
