All this one came in under the radar...

What is most interesting is the new finish on the brake track.
Ironically, I did participate in Gran Fondo NY with my brand new Bora One set (about 1000 miles), and the day ended up with pretty heavy rain all day (gambling on 30% chance of rain didn't work out other wise I would have gone with Zonda)
Now my sweet glossy finish of Bora brake track pretty much looks like what they apparently came up with for the new wheels.

Looks like a pretty good set but nothing ground braking...

Reynolds 32T UL are 200g lighter and probably a bit cheaper. Like you say nothing ground breaking from Campag

From the article I am not clear if they came up with new pads or the latest existing red pads are the ones to be used with the new brake track.

Until they offer a blunt nose rim shape similar to firecrest (zipp) or HED or Enve or Bontrager or Flo I'm not the least bit interested in Campy's 'aero' wheels.

I still don't like the G3 spoking pattern either, think i'll plumb for the ENVE's. Anybody any real world experience of the DT350 hubs?

Look closely as it looks like the inner edge of the rim has a special profile ala Lew/Reynolds "Swirl Lip Generator"

Maybe that shape isn't such a gimmic afterall?

To be fair, I think there is a lot to like about Bora (thats why I bought a set) pretty beautiful finish that goes well with my Colnago EPS and awesome hubs! I only have Bora one but its still amazing how they roll. I am coming from Reynold Assault and I have to say Bora definitely feels faster than Assault, though I have no experience with the new aero profile wheels. Could they try to catch up with the recent trend? Probably... But do they work well as is? i think so...

I'm not understanding how the swirl lip thingie is going to help airflow on the back half of the wheel like the blunt nose will.

I (and many others) would agree that their "awesome" hub construction and cult bearings are a step above many others.........

It's comments like this that make me wonder about this place sometimes.

Just for interest, in the recent Tour wheel test, the Campag Eurus proved quicker over all of the 100km routes that they simulated than either the Zipp or Enves. I find that interesting. I ride roads not wind tunnels.

Would be nice to read it.
