No glue - there should be enough to create a solid bond with what's on the tyre and what's left on the rim when you remove the old one.

That was my theory- just wanted some confirmation that I was not about to Schoolboy error it 50 miles from home.
Anyway- thanks for the guide, that Corsa Evo CX is literally half the size if was before, much more efficient in terms of jersey pocket usage.

Got me a TUFO Elite Jet <160 as a spare for this year. The nice thing about this one is that it fits a tool bottle when rolled up double-loop style (see page 1), allowing for better use of the remaining space.
Bikes: Raw Ti, 650b flatbar CX
Here is how I fold mine. It's thin enough to slide into the skinny middle pocket on my Assos jerseys.

That my friend is HORRIBLE! lol
I use a Tufo Elite <135 gr. tubular just to get home if needed. It's foldable like a butyl innertube and just as big/small. Also have a bottle of Orange sealant ( 50ml) in my backpocket. If that doesn't help me - the Tufo might get me home.
Same setup for me ... Tufo superlight tub and a small 50ml bottle filled with Orange sealant
Was lucky enough to avoid using any of those for the last 2-3 years
Well...it's been almost 10 years since the the thread got going.
Elite Jet folds nicely and has decent puncture protection - it is a Tufo.
I use it; I also have a pretty worn out 23 mm Corsa Speed. Even through it is wider, it is so much softer that it folds up nicely too.

I've always carried a Tufo jet 160g and orange sealant. Now I have more bikes I've ordered another Tufo 160g and im also using a corsa speed as a spare on another bike.
The Tufo's have never let me down yet. The few times I have changed a tyre I've always carried on with my ride and not turned around and gone straight home.
