This ^^
Look up the cols on the map, connect the dots and ride. It's all beautiful there.
I'll be around second week of June.

you can start with the "étape du tour 2013" route --> http://www.openrunner.com/index.php?id=2465881

openrunner is a great source for gps tracks in France

Yeah, as others said, you can't really go wrong, Kwalkers link above is great. Aravis direction you've got Croix Fry, Aravis, Saises, Colombier, the list keeps going. To the west youve got the Grand Colombier...good luck!

Don't miss col de l'Arpettaz above Ugine. Best kept secret. Ride up col de la Forclaz from Annecy for the wonderful lake views, then a steep descent to Vésonne, and the cycling path toward Ugine (it's completely separate from the main road, on the right). Before Ugine cross the road toward Sonney and climb the 40 or so switchbacks to Arpettaz. Take picture of mt Blanc, descend toward Héry. Circle back to Ugine and back the way you came to the lake; alternatively head to Flumet and col des Aravis; before la Clusaz turn left on to Croix-Fry (short climb), Manigod, Thônes. On the way back to Annecy don't stay on the main road, there is a small road by Balme, Dingy. The long version may be too long a day. If you have fat tires there is an unpaved shortcut from Arpettaz to col des Aravis (but I have not ridden it).

l'Arpettaz is definitely a well kept secret. I discovered it on Strava and rode it the next day, one of my best days on a bike last season. basilic gets all the good rides :(
