It has the standard alloy overdrive steerer. Would this be worth changing to save weight? I'm a fan on the bike. It's pretty fast and handles well

its a big saving to go carbon steerer.
try fulfords cycles in york. they carry a lot of giant frames & forks

It's got obviously a carbon frame and forks so I'm a little bit confused on what it would change?

they're talking about a carbon frame, but the stock fork is carbon with alloy steerer tube.

Don't need it no, just ride it as it is, that is more than enough bike for most people!
