I set up a league over at Velogames.
League name = Weight Weenies - The Giro Hero
League code = 03041141
Just for fun of course.
Nothing to lose...
...except for your ego being deflated on how well you think you know the pro ranks.
My team is Obscure Internet Reference Meme.

Entered. I went with a slightly less obscure internet reference meme.

Team Goatse.cx P/B Tubgirl is going to win.
Nibali
Inxtaustxihitaxi or whatever
Sanchez
Pozzovivo
Degenkolb
Betancur
Henao
Santambrogio
Atapuma
Kinda climber heavy and might switch it up to drop Henao for someone else. Just can't see Sky letting any of their guys up the road to get a stage win.

Happy Trails !!!
I won three of three stages... Looks like I should be team manager next year... Looking forward to see the points updated...
Next year my team will have bont shoes, assos clothing, lightweight wheels, disc brakes, 25mm tubulars, full ceramic bearings, hidraulic shifting and maybe google self driven bikes...

My team will remain the most stylish in the pro ranks, year in and year out. Results be damned.

The way Velogames works early wins don't really factor in a ton. They allocate points weird for aggressiveness, consistency, and of course stage wins. I won a league last year for simply having 2 riders that were always in the top 10 and 3 riders that got stage wins later in the race. Oh, and having members of the winning TTT helped as well.
For the Giro/Vuelta you want guys that will be in breaks or win climbing stages and that will get sprint wins. You can not have the GC winner and still win this way, as I did.
