Tell us about the carbon wheels -- what rims are those? Proportions are excellent on that frame; of course, it's all about how they look, right?

I'm using Zipp SSR on both bikes at the moment - have been for quite a while now.

Bike looks great Rich.

But based on a Gaulzetti's response to being asked to discuss some of his marketing statements he's not someone I will ever deal with. There are other people out there who can engage in an intelligent discussion and pull together a nice set of tubes. Rob English for one.

Thanks.

Each to their own - I get on with him just fine, and don't need him to answer his marketing statements to be happy riding one of his bikes (especially when the ride is so damn good). Plus I couldn't stomach the 18-month wait and extra cost for an English.

Gaulzetti is just one of a seemingly endless, and endlessly growing, field of very good bike builders (I know Gaulzetti doesn't build his own, but the label still fits) out there at the moment - if I could I'd have a bike from most of them. I'd bet money that only a handful would ride quite as well though.

Well, he's not technically a builder then, is he? And really, pretty much any bike using Italian stage-race geometry is going to ride well, because they are all the same! Crack open an old CONI manual and see for yourself.

Mine is custom geometry, and no he doesn't build them himself, but Gaulzetti as a company do.

And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

Was gunna go Gaulzetti, but after realizing that he just uses old CONI manual geometry, the paint isn't great, and he farms the work out. Decided to save up for a Stoemper.....
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

A Taylor or Darryl? Darryl, I assume since it is comparable to the Corsa.....I would love a Taylor though.
