The build is complete! I took my time to route the cables. I also changed my mind and put a Super Record cassette on the wheel. Might as well put the best on this deserving bicycle.

When I ran the cables, I did the criss-cross (California cross) cable routing around the headtube. I tried to use the cable guides on the Deda Presa bar, but gave up because it would have kinked up the cables. I also installed a short piece of tubing under the BB cable guide to protect the frame from the FD cable rub.

My first ride will be tomorrow, after I dial in my saddle position.

Weights:
SR 12-29 cassette w/lock ring, 219.6g.
Colnago BB cable guide + bolt, 3.4g.
Jagwire L3 5mm brake housing, 5.6g per 10cm.
Jagwire L3 4mm derailleur housing, 3.4g per 10cm.
Record chain, 115 links, 237.5g. Removed 10 links -18.2g
Shimano Dura-ace PD 9000 pedals 249g/pair (I know what you're thinking... Shimano on a Campy groupset. But I think Shimano makes most durable pedals).
Deda bar end plugs, 4.6g/pair.
Deda Mistral bar tape, uncut, 203cm + 202cm, 46.5g.
Colnago white carbon bottle cage, 39g.
Omni racer alloy bottle bolts, 2.4g/pair.

TOTAL weight 7.07kg (as pictured)

Congrats man. Bike looks unreal.

A Prologo seat in that navy blue they come in would look killer on there.

Get a bicycle. You will certainly not regret it, if you live.

Thanks for all the kind words and support, everyone. I really enjoyed taking my time with the build up of this C59.

My friend was so smitten by the build, that he just got a 2012 C59 in CSLM (Europcar black and green). He has asked me to build it up for him, and told me to take my time. Would you want me to record the build up of the C59 in CSLM?
