Hey Guys,

First time on here so I hope I posted in the right section.

I recently had a pretty bad cycling accident and turns out I need a new front fork for my bike. Its a 2012 Scott CR1 Comp this one here:

According the insurance company Scott don't sell them as a spare part so does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be a good replacement. I'd like to keep the geometry and weight the same (or better I guess as far as weight is concerned).

3T Funda Team, Enve 2.0 or 1.0. depending on your budget and preference on aesthetics.
you can hardly go wrong with any of those.
they all come in different rakes, make sure you get the right one.

Buy an original Scott Fork , the best way to keep the perfect ride. Here is one on eBay - give it a respray and back on the road again.

Get an original Scott fork as they have a looong axle to crown length, longer than many other brands.

I have one laying about if you need it. Steerer is on the shorter side though.

Try contacting Scott USA yourself - AFAIK here in Europe Scott usually keeps some on hand...

Hey Guys,

I should have mentioned I'm in Australia. I'd love to get a scott replacement. I have contacted Sheppard Cycles the Scott Importer via email. No reply yet. I've heard they have a longer axle to crown length. Super hard to find a replacement online. No idea how to find the rake either as the insurance company's assessors have my bike and I can't seem to find the info online for my year and model.

I'll look into the alternatives suggested. thanks guys
