I bought a Cannondale Super X. It was supposed to come with Ultegra wheels but showed up with Equipes instead. Should I be mad? Should I sell them now while they're new and buy Ultegra? Should I buy Shimano WH-RS80s?

Congratulations on your new bike. I don't think the gains from upgrading Equipes to WH-6700s are substantial. The weights are similar and the tradeoff of having a 10/11 speed compatible wheelset vs. a shimano/sram 10 speed only wheelset might hold its value slightly longer. Just two cents. How did your wheels become switched? Which Supersix did you order?

Super X Ultegra D12, a cross bike. They came like that from Cannondale. Sometimes things get changed based on availability.

Well, the Ultegras are nice because they are tubeless-compatible....

That's why I wanted them. I wanted to at least give tubeless a try.

Get the Ultegras if you can. Strong, straight and best of all tubeless. I raced them last winter with Hutchinson Bulldogs at about 35psi with lots of grip and no air loss.

Keep in mind any wheelset is tubeless compatible with the right setup. It would also be easy to get a lighter wheelset than the RS80.

The Ultegra wheels are excellent. The new RS81 wheels are 11 speed, tubeless, and weight about the same as the older Ultegra level wheels.
