A build for the upcoming Gran Fondo season - I've wanted this colour scheme (150th Anniversary) ever since spying it in a shop window in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2011.

Nothing unusual in the build. Steady and dependable.

NB. Seatpost WILL be lowered!

Airwise;

Nice paint schmeme.

Funny to see people with a SR11 system (it is after all the state of art system!) state "nothing unusual" ;-) We are all a bit off I think.... lol

I am not sure about the wheelset wrt looks...

I have finally picked up a 150th Edition C59 which I have been considering since it was launched. This one has been hard to justify as I already have a GDOB version but selling a couple of other framesets made the decision easier. It really is stunning in the flesh and I can't wait to take it back to Italy for the Maratona in June

Nice ! I would build those 2 ( specially the C40 ) with Dura Ace 9 speed for historical reasons ;)
