Beautiful bike. I probably would not take all the hassle with the crankset and go for a super record crankset. :-)

A Campagnolo SRM would be the perfect match of course, but they cost quite a bit more than sandpaper

Let down by the white saddle & wrap in my eyes, but wow, what a bike!

The frame line looks like a Pinarello.

Stunning. Risky wheel and drivetrain mix though!

Nice ride madone69! (time for a namechange?) Btw, what is your size and do you have to unscrew the battery from the mount to be able to fit the charger?

The XR is a 53. I recharge as is, nothing to remove. The battery life is impressive. I have done about 1000km since fully charged and its still on solid green.(i race this bike and do the odd weekend club ride when i feel like a treat:-):-):-) )

The name change - its something that stuck due to the 5.9sl & the 6.9 Madones i train on. Not to mention the two other Madones i sold.:-):-):-):-):-):-)
Open to suggestions though.

Ah, on my 51 I have to unscrew the two small bolts that holds the two bracketpieces together so I can slide the battery up towards the bottlecage in order to fit the charger. A bit of a hassle, but it's so rare that I don't mind.

You should call yourself oltreXR! :D

Just as a future reference, the Lightweight wheels are now toast:
