I bought this frame and i'v been gooooogling.
So far, what i think is true. I need help here, so please correct me.

It's from '95
It's custom paint
http://www.oldklein.com/history/colors

So does custom paint means that's impossible to find another frame with the same paint?

What is it worth?

If you got any info on this or other things, please let me know.

Thanks.
Daniel

I have seen other Klein frames painted with the lightning storm paint job, so that in itself is not a one off finish scheme. Maybe the other graphics were custom.

It's more recent than 95, I think, with those vertical dropouts.

that is not a pre-Trek klein, it's a recent one.

I've seen lot's of nightstrom klein paintjobs, and they are all different from this one. Mainly because the ones I've seen were from real klein (pre-Trek Klein). This on is not a Klein, it belongs to TREK, therefore it has much less value as trek made lot of shit changes, like vertical dropouts, standard headtube, etc...

From what I know, all the Night Storm (My favorite Klein Paint Job of all time.) paint jobs were done one at a time so each one is a little different. This is a late Klein, but not super late. It still has V brake studs so my guess is that its about a 2000 or so. I'd also guess its one of the ones made in Washington. Its not a bad frame by any means, build it up and ride it. Its also not one of the Gary Klein built frames either.

I can't ride that, I'll break it...

100€ this a trek bike, which will end up much cheaper. if it was a pre-trek klein, boy, that would be expensive. not the case though.

kelin lovers hate trek-kleins... as trek destroyed completely the brand.

If you start it at $0.99 I think it will sell in excess of $500 easily. Start low to build interest and promote bidding wars! Just make sure to do some good research. The better the pictures and info the better the sale price. Be careful about shipping internationally. Do your research and it will pay off.

Considering the size and the paint I think $500 is doable. Depends on if he will ship international. The year isn't the most desirable but the paint trumps that.
