Marriage is hardly the best basis for having bikes.

I just had a set of DA C50s arrive at the house that I was mounting tubs on for a friend. My wife made no mention of the additional set of wheels. :D

Amen! I have no idea what I am going to say if she notices my new SR EPS set up.

Anyhow..

I bought some Token TK250's used (looks lightly so) on ebay for £66.

And since I can't send pm's yet, if someone could tell "Flint" I may want his skewers (in classifieds) that would be great

It's the reason for Married Guys liking black bikes - they all look the same - I've had 4 different black bikes.....

I would love something with some colour - but they stand out way too much.

I would be shot if she knew how expensive they are.

When she asks how much they are - I take the opinion that she is only asking about the frame - It's only about $4,000 Honey....too bad you just can't ride a frame.

The "trick" is to have a wife that's a cyclist as well... My wife choice a pair of nice wheels for her new tri bike instead of a diamond ring that I had promised her (not the engagement ring... that was many years back). The only drawback is that whatever you buy turns out to be twice as expensive as she wants one too. New bike turns out to be 2 new bikes, etc. Still, there's no argument of buying bikes...

Unless they've done some serious upgrading on the bearings in the Micro hub, there's better options out there.

I didn't particularly care for my (admittedly ancient version) of that hub. LOVED the fronts that matched the old style freewheel hubs.
