Pretty sure it will be fine. I believe MTB skewers has slightly longer rod length as compared to the road version. If you don't mind the aesthetic then it's all good!

While waiting on that dumb stem, I was able to remedy the wheel situation and got a Superzero with Ti look anodized hardware as Lig pointed out. I also replaced the polished headset cap with a black one to balance out the upper and lower bearing cups. I now have all the parts except for the Superleggero in 110mm.

It's a Prologo C.One Nack. Thanks to you and Lig for the seatpost suggestion. I was a bit concerned about the reported 215g to 220g weight, but mine came in at 194g. I will tune it with some POP yokes, Ti bolts and cut 70mm to 90mm off the post. I'm also going to remove the logos and spray it with a two part urethane clear coat.

Love everything so far, and excited to see the final product! You are getting some amazingly lightweight results!
Not sure if you've seen/tried the POP yokes yet, but I didn't have much luck with them on my superzero. They fit the post well, but they were a little narrow for the carbon rails on the Carbonio Flow I tried to use them on. The problem was the sharpest point of the edge of the yoke was not wide enough for the oversized rails and seemed to pinch into the rails on the edge of their tops, rather than surrounding the rails supportively on the sides of the tops. Hopefully this was just a fluke, just my own buffoonery, or unique to the selle italia rails and you have better luck with the prologo. You could also use KCNC or other yokes if the POP ones don't work.

I hope it's worth the wait. I really like the no-frills, simple approach they're taking with this stem. Thanks for the heads up on the POP yokes. Selle Italia's carbon rails are indeed bulkier, but shouldn't the contact points be made to the same 44mm standard? I wonder if others have had issues with POP yokes..

Your Ergos are mounted too low though, try to align the tip of the breaks to the imaginary prolongation line of the drops, then set the drops paralell to the floor.
