I'm starting new single speed steel cross project. I bought a Spot Brand Single speed (non belt drive) 2006/2007 frame. I had it chemically stripped and it's in for powder coating today. I'm getting it powdered arctic white. All parts are used and sitting in my parts bin– I've noted the new purchases. I've also purchased a new set of decals and a Sterling silver head tube badge. I'm thinking of only using the head tube badge. Pic of the frame without stripping or coating attached.

Planned built list as follows:
Spot True Temper OX Platiunum Frame 55cm (3.3 lbs)
• Dura Ace 175 MM 7800 Cranks
• DA BB
• 42T Chainring
• 17/19 DOS White Industries freewheel (new) I also have a 18T freewheel
• White Industries SS Hub 32 hole
• White industries Front Hub 32 hole
• Surly Tuggnut Tensioner
• Mavic Open Pro Rims
• Vittoria XN Tires (new) Love these tires, my second set
• Tektro RL 520 Levers
• 3T Ergosum Alloy 42cm bar
• Pro Vibe Carbon Stem 110mm or Syntace 109 110mm (haven't decided if I want the stealth look)
• Paul's cable hanger (new)
• Easton EC90 X Carbon Fork (new)
• FSA Headset
• TRP EuroX Magnesium Brakes (new)
• Thomson 27.2 Masterpiece post
• Thomson 28.6 SP collar (new)
• Tune Komm Vor Saddle
• DA brake housing and brake cables (new)
• Time ATAC pedals (really old and beautiful)

Not sure what the final weight will be. I'm looking forward to the OX Platinum ride. I've heard great things. More pics to follow.

I had a chris kelly ox platinum frame a few years back. The ride quality was incredible but it was quite a bit heavier than my s-works (not really an issue for you I would imagine)

Here's a quick update. Picked up the frame yesterday afternoon, powder coating turned out great. Got a few items on. I'll try and finish it up this weekend. Sorry for the low quality pic. I'll have better pics this weekend.

I have a Time NXR which weighs about 14 lbs. It will be interesting to feel the difference. I'm guessing this bike might come in around 17-18 lbs??
