Nice frame! Not get excited about the wheels and the saddle on this frame.
Why such a short stem?

yes, i bought the saddle on a whim just to see. have a prologo saddle also, but looking at other options.

wheels... i use those as my 'do everything' wheels. also looking for something else.

the stem is a 95, but looks a lot shorter because it's so bulky/thick.

overall... a work in progress.

Really? Looks no longer than the Edge 500 out front, which is only 70mm long.

why the hell is it so heavy? those components are light, that frame must be made of lead.

The frame at this size should be around 1050gr. Ultegra is heavy, wheels are heavy too!

Hence the upgrade to red.

I like the hed for everyday wheels. have been looking at some other wheels as well - enve, mavic, etc.

any recommendation(s)? preferably no more than $2,000 (i'm about 85kg)

Thx.

Should I go 'old' sram shifters yellow edition or regular 2013 sram?

Neither will match so go with the better performer - 2013!

Or strip the graphics from either.

Really? It looks significantly shorter than my 100mm Enve - and they don't claim to make a 95. Sure it's not a 75?

Anyway, it'll look sweet when the crank goes on and Centos really do ride phenomenally well.

sorry. it's a 90.

was out on early AM ride before work this morning. love the ride more and more.

as i'm upgrading the cranks, torn whether to go to mid-compact (praxis) rings. i just replaced the cassette to an 11-25 and wonder how the gearing would work out. don't want to buy another cassette.

I'd rather change around cassettes than be undergeared via crank.

I put Praxis mid-compact rings on my Smoothie and regret it on all but the ~15-20% grades when I'm trying to keep HR down.
