Chris.

The brakes are 2013 and the rotors fit fine in the calipers.

Here's another pic. Sexiest stem I've ever seen.

wow awesome thread with very nice pictures, sick bike you've got there!

Did you try the KCNC rotor yet? How do you like it? I had them front and rear but only tried them twice and thought they braked very softly and lacked power but it might be cause they were brand new...

Haven't finished the build yet. The KCNC rotor in the rear is there until the 160 mm kettle SICCC SFL carbon rotor arrives to match the front (and if the carbon rotors suck in general).

Anyone want to buy a 140 mm SICCC SFL rotor, mounted never used for half price, PM me.

I really don't like the look of that stem. It's so burly IMHO, it takes away attention from the rest of the (beautiful) bike.

Ha ha! To each his own I guess. :beerchug: It is the most beautiful piece of carbon bicycle componentry I've ever laid my hands and eyes on. It was the one piece I had to have. It's as wide as my front 2.25 Rocket Ron tire!!

Dundee Cycles finished the build last night. Here are a few shots. I can't wait to tear up the singletrack. Lighter grips and weigh in tonight.

Absolutely beautiful bike! I think the stem looks great myself, and I'm very impressed with how cleanly the cabling has been done. I do suggest keeping the XX1 grips though: personally I love their feel, and while you can save 70 grams with some foam grips, its a definite compromise in my view.

I agree. I'm going to try the ESI chunky silicone grips, more for comfort than the 10g weight savings. The SRAM grips did feel pretty good and go so clean with the build.

Weighed in at 17.3 lbs. I need to find 150g somewhere!

First singletrack ride yesterday was a blast. Fastest bike I have ever ridden. I love the simplicity of XX1; 11 speeds in one hand and no chain slap. The Kettle carbon rotors are O.K.. I came from riding V-brakes Avid Ultimates for years and these feel about the same. The Formula Racing R1 does not leave much wiggle room for adjustment and I do get a slight rub in part of the front rotor. I am eager to try the KCNC rotors I have as backup.

More pretty pictures.
