Define "couple of years". If we go back to 2010, there is the small matter of a TdF win.

2010 TdF win... Andy with Saxobank or Alberto with Astana?

And now for something a bit more uplifting, MTN Cervelo style vid covering their T-A and MSR. Obviously there's a happy ending in there.

Hey, they said he conquered the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix, they didn't say he conquered the track (velodrome) at Roubaix.

Now, as to how well his damaged front wheel conquered the cobbles ...

So Amstel? Finally looks like they might catch the break, who's everyone got? I've got to go with Sagan because hes a monster and it doesnt finish at the top of the climb anymore; however I would love to see one of the younger garmin guys here make an attack like Howes, Haas or Dan Martin.

I guess I would also love to see one of the sky columbian duo do something, sky needs to do something in the classics so that they stay interested.

You should keep talking about Euskaltel. 2 stage wins in a week and Astarloza head of the race right now

Courage, Roman, courage!

Successful course redesign I'd say. Very well balanced.

Anyone know who did win the Combativity Award?

Seems 241km out in front is not enough for the AGR organisers.

Stories like this further convince me that cycling is nowhere near as dirty as "mainstream" sports.

http://network.yardbarker.com/college_football/article_external/report_tyrann_mathieu_told_an_nfl_coach_he_quit_counting_at_10_with_failed_drug_tests/13383559?refmod=backyard&refdst=8626&refsrc=yb_site_specific_8626

Imagine a U23 rider telling a prospective World Tour Team that he lost count after 10 failed drug tests... at least in cycling a schmuck like this would never even be offered a pro contract.

I'd rather be in a wheelchair than wearing anything with nike on it. or trek, or just any global capitalism brand with lots of marketing and 0 innovation.

petepeterson wrote:Fair enough; show me a non-Contador Saxo result from the past couple years?

Amstel gold race, a few hours ago? The thing is this: saxo bank is a team designed to win grand tours with contador. contador gets most of the budget, so there is no much chances for any extra results. No magic possible this time. So sorry.
Happy Trails !!!

Sagan apparently cramped up. Not dealing well with the "heat"
