What's going on?
With those wheels?
Have they reinforced the carbon frame with gold? Lead?
It's approximately what my time trial bike weighs. Not getting it.
Frame probably weighs about 2 kilos, like Petacchi's Colnago Extreme Power from a few years ago
some things aren't what they appear to be!

You don't want a super light bike for P-R which is flat with a million pot holes.
I never took drugs to improve my performance at any time. I will be willing to stick my finger into a polygraph test if anyone with big media pull wants to take issue. If you buy a signed poster now it will not be tarnished later. --Graeme Obree
Great to see the Rainbow Jersey back in contention -- just in time. Hopefully Gilbert can do something at L-B-L.
Bikes: Raw Ti, 650b flatbar CX
Is it just me or is GVA the only rider that seems to consistently perform on BMC? I mean, when you think about it other than Worlds last year BMC hasn't had much luck with GVA and TP being the most consistent performers.
That's why his contract was prolonged last year.

He had GVA ahead, then GVA chasing, so Gilbert's behavior was consistent with team tactics. If they got caught it was fine with Gilbert: he has a teammate. That's the key question: "Is it okay with rider X if the break gets caught?" He was covering Sagan.
And the reason GVA was up the road was to enable exactly that. So it was excellent tactics by BMC. Sagan was just too brilliant, though. That was an amazing finish.
That was text book but this wasn't

You also have to take into concideration that this is a stagerace. If your captain is down the road, you don't help one of the main contenders to save more time. Same thing with Gilberts victory in Barcelona last year (Vuelta). He helped rodriguez widing the gap a bit, and then made him do all the work, because he was GC contender while Gilbert wasn't.
