@jvanv: I don't think I ever had Dubonnet - it's one of those bitter apéritifs, the French army commissioned that stuff so the légionnaires would get their dose of quinine

Hi,

Long time no post...! Have been patiently waiting for Spring here in the UK. Spent the winter (Oct 12 - present) training on a single speed with 48/16 gearing. Not yet back on a geared bike but doing 120-150 miles a week commuting (30 each day approx) on the Langster which is fun and actually good conditioning.

Images taken on a phone, pushed through instragram and added to flickr for a little bit of sharpness. Location is South west UK. Bristol and The Mendips; Somerset UK.

Nice. Been taking the cyclocross bike up there sometimes with a mate at lunch. But mostly we've been hitting up Polhill at lunch time.

Ride with the wife, and some other ladies on a beautiful Sunday morning, out in AZ. Nice 45 mile recovery ride, after helping a friend get his first 70 mile organized ride out of the way. Mine is the BH, hers is the Roubaix.

Woj, that last pic is insane! We have some 20+ grades but they aren't that pretty.

That pic doesn't do the entire view justice either. If you look at the first photo and the third photo, they're actually part of the same view.

here are some older photos of the same spot - imagine them connected in a panoramic photo. One day I'm going to haul a slr camera and tripod up there and take a proper shot...
