I seem to have lost the pinch bolt on my 3D+ crankset. Does anybody know where I can buy a new one?

Do Rotor not say that this should never be removed? I may be wrong but it rings a bell. Might be worth asking them

I thinks ok to remove it. I stripped one and was unable to find a replacement bolt. Ended up just getting a new adjuster ring. http://www.velotechservices.co.uk/shop/vclose2.asp?prd=113829&cat=7386000657

You're thinking of the 3d crank, without the "+". In that case, yes, it should not be removed and would be difficult to do so if you wanted to.
the 3d+ crank has a tiny screw on its preload collar. That can be replaced if you can find one.
I'd try hobby shops with r/c models. they use very small metric hardware.

Fair enough, apologies for the confusion!

Just give a call to ROTOR. I snapped the head off mine the first time I did an install of one, and they sent me one right out.

I have also lost my pinch bolt, and would rather not have to buy the whole preload nut assembly. Can someone tell me the specs for just the pinch bolt?

Thanks.
My favorite components are the ones I never have to think about.
