So this is my bike for the season. We have created a sort of Grand Fondo team, so the bike is the most "Pro" looking bike I have had for a long time.

Build list:
Frame and fork: Boardman SLR9.8, size SM
Cockpit: ENVE 130mm stem/42cm bar
Seating area: ENVE 31,6mm post and Rotor S3X seat
Group: SRAM Red with ROTOR Power crank and Rotor QXL rings
Wheels: ENVE 6.7C with Chris King R45 hubs
Pedals: Look Keo Blade Carbon Ti
Vincero bottle "cages"
MCFK carbon FD and seatpost clamps.
Weight as pictured, 6,61 kg.

I like Boardman bikes. This one looks great however it looks like it's built more as a road racing machine than a grand fondo bike. Either way

Very nice build. I was really close to getting a UHC issue SLR 9.8 frame but the deal fell through. I like the value/performance of the Boardman frames.

That looks absolutely sick. Always had a soft spot for Boardmans - I always felt they were true quality race bikes with spot on race geometry. Finishing kit on that looks like the business too - have fun riding it!

Thanks guys. The bike is very good and reminds me of my old Storck Fenomalist. A bit less stiff (not much) but more compliant and less twitchy.

@plpete: The Grand Fondo term is because of lack of a better word. They are essentially road races, but everybody can compete. All team members are doing "real" road races too. (licensed)

Here's a pic of the Rotor Power crank on my scale.

Nice bike... and weight on the Rotor PM.

One thing I don't understand though is, why Rotor doesn't make a blacked out version of any of their cranksets? The graphics is a bit too much in my opinion - and it wouldn't fit the overall look of my bike. In the end it could mean, that I would choose another PM, when I get to that.

I know it shouldn't be the primary parameter for the choice of PM - but it certainly has some weight in the decision. And I suppose I am not the only one.
