I have a Chinese carbon frameset(FM066) and haven't built up yet. I recently found an NOS Profile Design AC fork for sale at a bargain price. If the claimed weight(320g) is anything true, that would save 50g over the stock fork of FM066, for only USD$100. After some Googling, I can only find some reviews on RBR, which seem favorable but no actual weight is mentioned. I'd like to find out more about this fork's weight, stiffness, reliability..etc. before I take the plunge.
BTW, I'm light(63kg/140 lb), can't sprint and don't race.
Any comment or experience for this fork(1-1/8" steerer tube)? Thanks in advance!

Doesn't the FM066 use a tapered steerer?

Yes, the lower bearing is 1.5", but I can use this reducer crown race to fit a non-tapered fork: http://www.ebay.com/itm/J-L-1-1-8-1-1-2-Tapered-Steerer-Crown-Ring-fork-Headtube-Adapter-Headset-/290885982375?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ba27d8a7

Had one of these forks years ago. Mediocre at best even in it's day more than a decade ago, flexy. Replaced it with then industry standard (now also considered anachronistic) Reynolds Ouzo Pro and ride was much improved. If you combine this fork with your adapter (which adds much of the weight difference back), not worth it at all. A poor handling Frankenbike front end to possibly save a FEW grams.

I don't mind the mismatched look of front end, but thank you for verifying my concern about the fork being flexy, Idamelio.
Better save those $$$ for a Red RD, again for a few grams...
