I am interested too,but the only concern i have is the ventilation, isn't it too less for summer rides?
Anyone have experiences with climbing at around +20 a 30 celsius (=68-86fahrenheit)?

I noted that they were not in vogue during the mountain stages in TdF last year. Also an Aeon (EU) is some 80g lighter, and weight on riders gear doesn't count.

I wonder if there is an aero penalty for wearing the Air Attack Shield without the visor due to the exposed indents.

see, there is a "real-world" advantage - in the first pic a regular helmet would have slowed you down

correct and the visor helmet would have helped Curt to get the top spot.

It's not the worst looking helmet out there, it is the most comfortable one ive ever owned. Im sure there is a good amount of time to be gained over a 50 mile race vs a standard helmet.

Does anyone knows if Giro makes Team color helmets at all? Not just the Air attack, but their normal road helmets as well. I think the BMC color looks pretty sick.

and they also have best looking TT helmet out there with this color scheme.

Ha, even the pros hate these new goofy helmets..

''The talk of the peloton is about these ridiculous “aero” helmets they’re making us wear. I mean … seriously? They always put them on the big name riders first and then they start trickling down to the rest of us. You’ll see Specialized’s new helmet on Boonen right now. They had a great looking helmet and now what what they’ve done? Scott, Lazer, Kask, Uvex … almost all of them have gone backwards. We’re now on these absolutely ridiculous looking Giro helmets now and every iteration is getting worse and worse. ''
