SuperSix with Record/Chorus 11
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Picked up a SuperSix frame a couple months ago after I approached the LBS that sponsors my team looking for a CAAD10 frame. Last year we got really good prices on CAAD10 frames, I bought one, built it up with Red and then sold it late last year. I was hoping to get the same or similar deal this yeah but the shop offered me this frame for the same price so I jumped on it. The frame was basically a demo but carries a full warranty as if new so I figured why not? At first I built it was Red/Force but I've been growing tired of SRAM lately and really wanted to do something different and maybe and not so ubiquitous. I considered Di2 but decided on Campy 11!

For sure needs a Thomson stem!
Quick pic. I got the Powertap working, basically the steel spacer on the axle was ever so slightly too short and had to be shimmed. We got 12" of snow on Sunday so road conditions are still pretty crappy hence the crappy/trainer tires. As soon as spring breaks I will mount a set of Open Corsa SCs. I also picked up a Zipp SL Speed seatpost and will donate the Thomson to my Ridley.
I'm torn on wether or not to try white tape/saddle - any votes?

No road bike ever needs a Thomson stem.
Great looking bike. The CAAD looks fantastic!
Very nice, my vote is to keep it black.

Thanks for the comments on my CAAD10, although it makes me regret selling it. Looks like I need some deep carbon to complete the look for the SS.
