Those Assos Sturmnuss rain knickers are not very aero, but at least they're knickers and not full leg pants. I hope they should be just the ticket to make 3 hours plus in the rain a bit more bearable. Have used an Endura Stealth Lite bib rain tight before, but the fit was odd. Seems to me that those Scots use a mannequin with short legs and long torso but I'm like Coppi. Also the Sturmnuss can come off in a whiff.
With these purchases we won't have rain this side of mid summer.
I know you're an Assos man from what you've bought in the past on here but have you tried Castelli's nanoflex stuff for the rain? Most of the guys round here ( rainy Bristol at present ) have been over the moon with it for rainy days in the saddle ...

I haven't. Should of course have had a Gabba jersey or maybe a convertible since it's "Norwegian", but no.
Sturmprinz next...
Very pretty boxes you have there, helios.

Congrats Helios. How did you come up with the specific Chorus/Record combination?
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

Started out thinking full Chorus and just wanted to upgrade for the heck of it. I spent an extra $150 for the Record ergos and rear derailleur because I thought they'd be the best bang for my buck. Mostly vanity though, really.

I never took drugs to improve my performance at any time. I will be willing to stick my finger into a polygraph test if anyone with big media pull wants to take issue. If you buy a signed poster now it will not be tarnished later. --Graeme Obree

Chris.
$229 from JensonUSA. Not bad. Most places I found were $339, but I was able to shave $10 off with a price match to some store I found on Google Product Search. Couldn't find any significant deals and needed the shoes because my Nike MTB shoes had the carbon sole start cracking on them.
