Does anyone have the weight of a CF M4x20 bolt?

The bolt in my hand weighs .51g (rounded up), but it is not CF. I'm wondering what a CF one would weigh in comparison.

Thanks.

I found that an M4x16 is .5g (not my scale, apparently the scale only goes to the tenth of a gram).

But that M4x16 costs 9,50€

Kinda pricey for an assumed .01g savings.

as for price: yes, they are expensive, but those cca 10 euro for one bolt is nothing you could not afford. And even when I know that weight savings are something like 1g compared to Alu bolts, I bought them to hold my Tune bottle cages.
Just nice WW detail on your bike :D

has anyone got a link to a site ? , I am interested if the carbon is wound or runs lengthwise , either way the resin holding the fibres together must do all the work .

ah , PEEK thermoplastic resin (epoxy is a thermoset resin) , I wonder how long the fibres are in their "highly specialised pressure extrusion procedure"

So I have looked for PEEK bolts and then found that RENY is even better, but the issue is purchasing, even if I get my ride group to buy some it won't be enough to get past the minimum order amounts usually around $200USD.

Anybody have a supplier that will do small amounts?

I'd like to get in on a Schmolke order if anyone is planning on ordering.
I've been on the eternal wait list with Fairwheel...tired of waiting.
Thanks
