Question about Rotor3D+ (P2M) (110BCD) and Osymetric
Moderator: robbosmans
Dear all,
Does anyone know whether a Rotor 3D+ crankset that has a Power2Max installed, can be outfitted with a Osymetric chainset (110BCD)? I just came to the conclusion that the Rotor Q Rings XL that I ordered do not fit, at least not the outer ring. For the time being, I'm not yet willing to take it to the next level with the Rotor Q Rings and to use the dremel. Any input on whether Oysemtric rings would fit would be helpful.
These won't fit :
Would these fit ?
Not yet ready to do this with my Q Ring XL, as seen on slowtwitch, as Power2Max says it should be 'avoided' ..
From the homework done by the individual on slowtwitch, I would believe that the Osyemtrics might be just about right?

I'll have an answer for you within a week, I hope. I ordered the 110 BCD Osymetric. I'll post the result here
Hi all,
Nicolas here from power2max. I am happy to confirm that you can mount 110BCD Osymetric rings without problems. The reason the 110BCD Aero Q-Rings don't work is that they interfere with the battery cover. The Osymetrics are cut out in that area, so no problem there. A training buddy of mine uses both the compact and the 130BCD version, I run the 130 BCD on my TT bike
I hope this helps,
Best wishes
Nicolas
