Just got the non visor version today, fits much better than my Rudy Windmax. Actually very happy with it, did a quick 30 mile loop today, windy and 40 degrees out, couldn't be happier. If it saves me some time in a 50 mile road race it will be even better.

I wish the magnets were integrated under the shell. From the looks of it you have to buy the shield version if you ever plan to run a shield. Would look weight with it off unless you get the black one.

I'm waiting to try one locally just for kicks. I have a lazer genesis so I might just get the rain cover for rainy days.

I have a non-visor on the way, as I prefer glasses. But just wondering if anyone will dare to stick a thin velcro strip on the helmet and the visor to secure it, rather than rely on magnets? Granted, the idea of turning the visor upside down to store it on the helmet sounds neat, but do the magnets actually hold?

Is it just me who can not see any difference in the helmet shell design between the non-visor and the visor AA? Except the three magnet points.
I went for the visor version which still is not handed to the dealers. I will use it with the visor or can use it also with glasses.
I can imagine the visor could have been designed to be fixed into the helmet within a slit in front with some magnet stripes.
@UpFromOne: will report back about magnet security when I will get mine.

Now after close to a week of use I'm really liking it, very comfortable, can't wait for the visor version!

Just received my non-visor version. Haven't gone out yet but it fits well (on a round head)and the matte black finish looks cool.

Contemplated on the visor version but since air is supposed to flow/enter through the front/forehead section, having a visor might interrupt the airflow. Probably good as a cold weather helmet.

How much serious aero advantage is the Giro going to have over something like a Protec Ace?

@fletch62: if your question is of serious intent , I would guess that the Giro AA has no aero advantage over the Protec Ace. So enough reason not to spend your hard earned money on a AA helmet and to wear the Protec in your next race. Do not omit to to take some shots and please share your riding experience with us.

The Air Attack has a great fit and pretty decent ventilation. We should receive our retail units in a couple days.

My LBS has one. I tried the medium on, and I swear it fit like a glove. I was so tempted to walk out with it, but I want to see the visor version first.

Does anyone know if Giro will have more visor options beyond grey and clear? If yes, any ideas what?

Ordered mine today. White, M, no visor. I'm so conservative.
