Hey guys,

I ordered a women's version of supersix last week and just found out that the seatpost dimension is listed as 31.8mm. Is it okay to use a 31.6mm seatpost? If not, is there any manufacturer that makes 31.8mm seatposts?

Thanks a lot!

Doesn't seem right. I think that may be a typo.

31.6 should fit perfectly. I've been using an FSA 31.6 K-Force seatpost for my supersix last year with no issues.

If I'm not mistaken, 31.8 is the diameter of frame. 31.6 is the needed diameter of the seatpost.

I think the true size is 1.25", and different manufacturers call it 31.6 or 31.8. I think they are interchangeable.

They are not interchangeable. It is a typo, supersixes are 31.6mm. Some seatpost clamps, front derailleur clamps, and of course handlebar diameters are 31.8mm, which is 1.25". The only bike I ever heard of actually taking a 31.8mm POST is an old Boulder Bicycles full suspension mountain bike, either the Gazelle or Defiant.
