First post.. need some advice.
I bought some old Zipp 404's off someone last fall and have only ridden them for about 100km.
I noticed this crack only after changing a tube.
How would you go about fixing them? Just dab some epoxy or get a carbon fiber repair kit?

Nipple protrusion is usually caused by cold temperatures.

Pre-dimples Zipp, what a 2004 or earlier? The nip is probably pulling through. It will likely just keep losing tension, the wheel keep going out of true and an annoying "tick" develop with each revolution of the wheel. But other than that, no worries.

Seeing as how the wheel is toast and it is your rear wheel, why not? Go ahead and practice a little carbon repair....
