Depends on which ones specifically you want. Ebay is a pretty good resource.

Just got a pair of these in the mail yesterday!

Went down to a 42 from the 42.5 I had previously been wearing in the A2's, fit on the 42.5's was a bit more spacey than I would like. So far so good, using Giro SuperNatural Fit Kit insoles and 1 round of molding has resulted in a pretty awesome slipper like fit, sock tight almost with the carbon encasing my foot.

Found them on closeout in my size for ~$150ish, pretty light as well

Hmmm... Not much choice in bike brand now, SS. :smartass:

Very nice shoes, the Vaypors. Only slight difficulty I've had with mine was to find the correct cleat position as it is impossible to feel the toe joints through the carbon "bathtub".

I'm having problems removing the cleat screws from my A1s. With first one and now two shoes the receiving bolts in the shoe are loose, so I can rotate the screw on the cleat side, but can't get grip on the sole side. As a result, the cleat is held by only the two good screws.

Additionally I've had difficulty getting a pressure point in my arch to yield. I'm trying again today. I think I need to really let the shoe heat for at least 30 minutes to allow the part to become soft. Ovens aren't well regulated at 60C, and accurate temperature is hard to attain there.

I'm riding a Specialized actually  I'm a borderline broke and dumb college kid so right now frugality wins out over the need to match.

If I had the extra $$ I would have gone for the Vaypor's but saving >$100 by going with the ctt-1's just was too good to pass up. Depending on how much I like em I will definitely be saving for some vaypor's in the *distant* future.

Anyhow, I have found it hard to set up the cleat position as well. Previously on my A2's that I got used this was a real challenge for me because of how stiff the whole shoe is. I found just riding the trainer and tinkering with it to be the best because I couldn't get a good read on my metatarsals.

The Cervelo logos peel off pretty easily, at least on the white version of the CTT-1s.

DJ, I had a similar problem with the T-nuts on my Bonts, and a few others in this thread have as well. The problem was that the T-nut was not threaded all the way through so the bolt will hit the non-threaded sections and just spin the t-nut around. I picked up some new ones at Home Depot, but they aren't a direct fit. I had to dremel down the outer diameter of the part which passes through the sole of the shoe. You could also enlarge the hole in the sole, or but T-nuts directly from Bont. I was happy to modify the Home Depot T-nuts since they were cheap and available immediately. I have a few thousand miles on this solution with no problems. And now I noticed you are having trouble getting the bolts out rather than in, so this is likely a solution to a different problem...

Note to self: Must read up on the difference between CTT-1 and Vaypor.

Good to hear the logo's will peel off if I want to. The word cervelo on the straps isn't bad but the "wings" on the back might have to go, we shall see after a bit of riding. I can say right now they fit AMAZING however. Heated them up, put them on with Giro Superfeet Insoles and cranked them down as hard as I could. 20minutes later they are like socks, also the weight difference is VERY noticeable over my A2's

Anyone try the T1 Track ones on? Are they the A1 shape I guess? I find that w/ my skinny foot, there's too muh room over the top of my foot, wonder if the laces will help that.

I've got a pair of CTT-1s, and I'm trying to push out the arch support a bit. I have relatively flat feet and the "arch support" is putting painful pressure on my arch but I can't seem to push it out... I've baked it at 200deg for 20 min and no luck. Any ideas or tips? The rest of the tub molds fine but I'm not having so much success with the arch support.

Thanks.

Must say this shoe purchase (Vaypors) is turning out to be the same kind of homecoming as my discovery of Selle SMP. Bliss!

113245-
I had the same problem with the CTT 1- and I have REALLY flat feet. What I did was heat one shoe at a time, put it on, and then stand on (put more pressure on) the arch of the foot in the shoe with the heel of my other foot until the shoe cooled, then did the same with the other side. Worked like a champ.

hmm... I tried that and it resulted in a lot of foot pain and not much shoe movement. I got frustrated so I cranked my oven up to 220 and left them in there for 20 minutes, and then placed a table leg over the arch area and pushed down with all my weight. A make-it-or-break-it approach if you will. It helped to some extent, I went on a 30 mile ride today and didn't feel the same arch pressure for the most part. left shoe might need to undergo ahem, "treatment," again.

A curious side note, originally there were about two dozen little pinholes in finish/resin? on the bottom of the shoe. After putting it through the oven like that they all seem to have disappeared...

Did you order these shoes from Bont? I believe they have a flat arch option:
