Yes, switch to some nice ZTR wheels and save ~200g or more!
XTR M980 front derailleur is also a bit lighter.

you know my opinion on this setup
but in general I´d go for Kubanecs Schmolke complete with Rotor or extralite stem, some hope Race or brakes, and about wheels... lets say ZTR Alpine with DT swiss revolution on Extralite Hyperhubs with one sided radial spokes in front .... that would be more than hell of a good setup

Not exactly pure Weightweenie.... but still crazy enought to hunt every possible gram (used to be, but still like reasonably light bikes )

Your bike looks great but please change the power cords and the fast fred tieres, than you can have much more fun with your bike and the more weicht is arround 250g.
But the feeling is much better, i also ride mtb with 6,2kg but there was no fun.
You can save some weight on other parts!(take another-frame-brake...)
My Scott has in the race outfit 6,550kg with bar end bottle cage but lighter is for my body-weight not able

I personally really enjoyed riding Furious Freds! Definitely wouldn't use them for racing, but it made old easy trails a lot more challenging. And honestly, they weren't as scary in the corners as every one makes them out to be! So long as there wasn't any sand that is..
