One of the best looking bikes I've seen.

Finally! Almost slammed stem, and classic handlebars. Looks awesome. But get those warning stickers of.

That looks amazing. How is it 6.8kg though? I would think it would be low 6s at least.

munk93: All the stickers are removed from wheels.

The weight is now 6.8: this includes P2Max, hyperon clincher wheels, heavy skewers...(internal cables add weight to, next year I'm going electronic :-) )
But really ( I know this is WW so don't shoot me), I prefer a 6.5-7kg bike then a 6.0-6.5kg. It complements my riding style better.

Frame weight was 830grams ( Large)

I thought about getting te Stealth 3T stuff but I prefer te grey on the this bike. It complements it perfectly.

Mid april I'm getting a new fit then I'm sending BERK COMPOSITES some measurements for integrated saddle and seatpost and stem-bar combo... :beerchug:

Wow, you got lucky then, or I just got very unlucky. Mine is 950gr as XL tall.

That is pure, spare elegance. There is nothing not to love about that build. Great job.

heh. Order isn't important. Just the direction of an industry of trends.

pfft i think its heresy to compare parlees sense of style to cannondales :unbelievable:

one companies designs are geared to get the desired performance, the other is concerned with 'trends' and shifting as many units as possible

the z5s looks a bit like a steel frame until you get close, round tubing, straight lines and no stupid anagrams on every available piece of real-estate, tasteful

I see you have still ridden a lot of bike like Cervelo.

What is the difference between a R5 and this one?

I have a R3SL and I hesitate between the both...

Thank You for your review.

@naturel:

Well, the first thing I noticed is that the frame doesn't crack (nor make cracking noises from bracket area) by looking at it... that's a plus no? :D. 2 S3's, 1R5 and 2 R3's cracked (2years time)...Replaced under waranty from Cervélo, but you still have to wait for it. Last R3 that was cracked (2011model->already in same colors AND same fork as 2013 model) I had to pay 500euro, that was a real bummer...

That's MY experience, my brother rides a 2008 Cervélo without a problem.

Parlee is something else. It's more under the radar, except from the real bike lovers ( in Belgium not to many people ride or even know this brand).

The ride compared Cervélo R-series-Parlee: about the same, The parlee is nat as twitchy and maybe a tad more comfy, but really not by much. A bike that is criterium ready if you ask me!
