I'd loose the white on the seatpost, but other than that:

What have you done with the old seat and handlebar? Is it for sale ? (handlebar and seat?)

Handlebars are sold... and the saddle is not for sale; I keep that as a backup, if the Smud doesn't fit my behind...

Hi Awesome ride by the way..

I have an Aeroad too (will post some pics at some point) and would like to change my stem.. could I ask where u got your from as the whole 1 1/4" thing is proving to be a nightmare! I looked for the same stem online and 3T dont seem to do it in 1 1/4.. wondered if i was missing something and a 1 1/8 stem would actually fit or something? :noidea:

Cheers

It's your lucky day...

Canyon decided to go with a "standard" solution on the Aeroad fork - which means it is 1 1/8 and therefore gives you a large variety of stems to choose from.

The 3T I had was cool - loved the black in black. But if you are looking for weight reduction, have a look at the New Ultimate Evo stem - awesome :)

Thanks for the reply. Though i'm a little lost.. :? Mine is a 1 1/4 steerer tube, so I cant put a normal 1 1/8 stem on it. Did you modify your steerer tube etc in any way then? Do you know of anyone else who has this problem?

That is really strange... :noidea:

It is all standard on my bike... no modifications at all. And I know there are a lot of other guys in here, that has done the same; swapped to another stem without any problems.

I bought mine last summer; so it is the 2012 model.

What is yours?

Thanks guys... :)

The Extralites are sold - they just didn't fit the overall visual look of the bike. I have ordered a set of Farsports 38 mm carbon clinchers instead. They will be a dash heavier - but look totally different. On top of that, I can keep the same pads, when swapping between the Enve's and the Farsports.

As well is the Token cassette - didn't ride it all. Having the bike in the bikestand it was impossible to tune the RD to cover all ten cogs in the cassette. Dura Ace is the boss... as simple as that.

New photos coming up, when the new wheels arrive.
