Currently have BB30 X0 crankset with 26-39 rings and XX 26-39 FD low direct mount S3 type

Would like to change the rings to 24-38 combo

Is it necessary to replace also FD or my present will work fine with new rings?

Can you fit 24 rings on a BB30 X.0 crankset?
I have searched and found that few suppliers manufacture 25 rings for X.0 but I have not found a 24 solution!

But now see, that it's for GPX spindle only... Pity :(

Should be possible. I am running S2210 cranks with 24/38 rings... I don't know where to get just the chainrings though...

I've googled some forums and saw, that quite a lot companies (not SRAM, but others do) produce special spiders for BB30 X0/X9 cranks. So, to make a convention is not a problem and I would like return to my question: Is it necessary to replace 26-39 FD or it will work fine with new 24-38 rings? Have anyone tried this combo?
