I would never sell a C50 in order to get this Trek but... whatever...

Cool project.
I like the idea of building one of those old dream bikes (i have a couple in mind myself, i would love to build)
I actually had one of those old style madones some years ago. Imo one of the best looking, and most aggressive looking frames ever, nothing really looks like it.
Happy hunting/building
Looking forward to more Madone

I must inform you that the buyer and now the new owner of my former C50 frame, received it half an hour ago
He will join WW in a couple of days and will maybe continue this thread. This might be sort of a reincarnation
Dam, I took a chance with purchasing the C50 and I have to say it has been well worth it!
You have just made my day, what a beautiful frame! You have been a man of your word and you have been a gentleman with it.
Thank you very much!

Sell a C50 to buy a Madone?
You have to be crazy
You have to be crazy
I will comment when I try out the Madone
About the looks... I am much more satisfied with how the Madone looks. But that`s just a personal opinion.

markyboy, those are Solist TWO wheels. Xentis 58 mm rims with DT Swiss 240s hubs and DT Aerolite spokes.

They look nice with the tyres
tes they do
See my signature. They are both sold now.
But I bought another Madone - my new project.
Madone is much better than C50.
Go jump, who cares.

I miss this attitude. Nice to see you're still around.
