Cool project.
I like the idea of building one of those old dream bikes (i have a couple in mind myself, i would love to build)
I actually had one of those old style madones some years ago. Imo one of the best looking, and most aggressive looking frames ever, nothing really looks like it.

Happy hunting/building
Looking forward to more Madone

Those old Madones are pretty classy in their own right. Here's my build in the 58 cm size. Thumb up!

I must inform you that the buyer and now the new owner of my former C50 frame, received it half an hour ago :D

Dam, I took a chance with purchasing the C50 and I have to say it has been well worth it!

You have just made my day, what a beautiful frame! You have been a man of your word and you have been a gentleman with it.

Thank you very much! :-)

He will join WW in a couple of days and will maybe continue this thread. This might be sort of a reincarnation ;) :D

I will comment when I try out the Madone ;)
About the looks... I am much more satisfied with how the Madone looks. But that`s just a personal opinion.

soooooo.... How's the OP getting on with his Lance inspired Madone replacement for the C50 these days.

I'd probably have jumped off a bridge, personally

See my signature. They are both sold now.

But I bought another Madone - my new project.
Madone is much better than C50.
