coming from a set of da7850 clinchers, i was unimpressed with the rims on the ac road tubeless...not sure how similar they are to the argent, but it seems the mfg technique is the same. i had horrible pulsing from the seam line on my 2013 road tubeless, unmitigated by different brake pads. kudos to AC for being very reasonable to work with on the issue, but ultimately they were not a workable rim for me.
weighed the set in the shop today. 1400g with tubeless rim tape installed.
re above post. pulsing from the brakes is due to the unmachined brake track.
AC claims machining the brake track weakens the rim too much.
re decals, theyre painted/anodized. not just stickers, so depends what you would call "easy".
