Here is my latest build. Even with the heavier Ultegra Di2 (had a mix of SRAM Red/Force on the last TT bike), it's about 1/2 kg lighter then my old TT bike. Only ridden it around the block a few time and looking forward to putting it through the paces. Will add the Di2 brake levers when they come out.

Build: 8.02 KG for a size Large.

Thought I would post an update. Changed the saddle and tape, added the Di2 brake levers, and installed Rotor rings.

Current weight is 7.96 kg

I'm going to be conservative here and just say it's a very nicely built up bike, congratulations and enjoy it!

It is a shame that the purile video clip added by the clearly purile 'nathannong' has ruined this thread.

... and it's a shame some people have to be snobby to compensate for their lack of humour and otherwise depressing lives.

@nathanong87

Here was I thinking Valbrona would be beside himself; no chance of toe over lap on that BMC.

How is the shifting with the SRAM crankset and Ui2?

One of my favorite TT's. WOW.

I'm sure you will enjoy.

Let us know how you like the wheelset.

Wolfsquire

The shifting of the Ui2 with the SRAM crank is really good. I have actually think this crank with the TT rings shifts slightly better then the normal SRAM rings that are on my Noah (also Ui2).

Did my first ride yesterday and the wheels are fantastic. Really light for their depth (about 1500g) and handle gust of wind well. When you get up to speed they seem to hold it and you feel like you go into cruise control (this could partially be "new bike" sensations though).

Hi,

Trying to decide on the size. Is the Large really huge? I currently ride a 58cm Cervelo S3. Being 190cm what do you recommend?

I'm about 182cm and was right on the edge of a ML or L. Ultimately found that the L most closely mirrored the Kestrel 57cm TT frame I was coming off of. I prefer a long and low fit and probably could have made a ML fit as well but no issues with the L. It is a reasonably large frame. I actually just sold mine but that was because work and school isn't going to allow me to race for another year or two and I can't justify that beautiful machine sitting around during that time.
