Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

This is extremely risky, even with the longer expander: someone here might see your bike and ridicule it.

All in it seems like a pretty grey area! Thanks for the advice, I'll play it safe... Perhaps I'll ease off 5-10mm at a time, trimming the steerer each time if comfortable after a few rides. Perhaps.

Enve recommend a 5mm spacer between the stem and top cap.
