The clear was actually the most difficult part of this build. I sanded it all myself but originally took the frame to a local auto paint shop to have them clear it. Well, they didn't know what they were doing I dont guess because the clear didnt adhere properly and started to peel off...I was NOT HAPPY to have to sand the whole frame a second time. I ended up taking it to a local guy who has his own custom bike building company here in Chattanooga, TN (http://silentcycles.com
) He took excellent care of the frame and I ended up having him paint the drop outs/cable guides as well to really black it out. He also painted the decal. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. All I have left to do is get a good set of carbon wheels as soon as I find a few grand laying around...lol.
