Hi all,

Are there any nice light jockey wheels available that fit the new XTR M980 rear mechs?

The reason I ask is that the top jockey wheel is offset.

An alternative might be a new inner cage (without the spacer part) to fit standard jockey wheels- does anyone know of this?

I am not desperate to do this if the cost is very large (i.e. custom) but am curious to know what the options might be.

Many thanks, Daniel

Have you tried the Mt Zoom Speedwheels? I know they fit XTR-M970 Shadow, which are a funny size, as well as everything else, so might be a universal fitting. Drop them an email and ask, Ant there knows his stuff.

I'm using the Mt Zoom ultralight ones in my M980, work perfectly. Really impressed with how long they've lasted!

Does the raised section for the upper jockey on the inner cage not cause any issues?

I had assumed it must but will contact Mt Zoom :D
