Dude has asthma? Not that I'm buying it. Was there an Armstrong-style backdating?

Banned by IOC but not by cycling at the time?

Yes, Indurain at best sketchy. Such a wonderful endurance athlete suffering from asthma, and having a masking agent in his system. Was he EPO-fueled dating back to at least his 1991 TdF victory?

NS, you're the OP of this thread. Do you care to address the below?

Are you referring to this http://greglemond.com/lemond-cycle/?

Do you know when this page was last updated? Note that even though it says © 2012 Greg Lemond at the bottom of the page, it also says that on the blog page http://greglemond.com/blog/, whose most recent entry is from November 2010. On the other hand, the blog at http://www.lemondrevolution.com/blogs/news has a most recent entry in February 2013. So although http://greglemond.com/ is linked from http://www.lemondrevolution.com/, it is hardly obvious to me that http://greglemond.com/lemond-cycle/ is not just an ancient page from years ago. I'll leave it to the board hotshots to further investigate.

Just saw it on twitter that day so posted it on here. Didn't realise it was going to be so offensive that I would have to quote a source

https://twitter.com/theraceradio/status ... 2835003392" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That is one of many sources stating similar

That twitter post does indeed reference the http://greglemond.com/lemond-cycle/ page I found. Now the question is, is this something new, or it just an old page which the twitterer just happened upon, not realizing its age?

After 10 years of being beaten into the wilderness by 'certain forces' in the cycling world, I can't begrudge LeMond for making up for lost time and earnings.
If he wants to start up with bikes again, more power to him. He should make them light and trustworthy and he should make a profit.

All the best to LeMond, but I'm saving up for a Hampsten :D

The problem with Hampsten is it sounds too much like Hamilton.

If the Hampsten bike is too expensive, then you could get the Andy Hampsten Gavia Pass jersey, complete with Andy's race number and four safety pins to attach it, instead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnrwdlzbFdw

Oh how I wish they would make Spinaci bars again with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter.

If you like Hampsten (and it is hard not to) and want to be authentic then you should consider what he rode, a Landshark.
Have fun trying to get in touch with Slawta though.

I just saw some Spinaci on sale @ a local shop, super-cheap. I resisted, even though I still cling to 26.0 as the superior option.

My preference for sub-40 cm bars has finally proven popular. I'm not too hopeful on 26.0 staging a comeback soon, however.
