zero setback carbon seatpost with some compliance
Moderator: robbosmans
I have the Bontrager XXX Lite carbon with zero offset with carbon railed Antares. Works very well; easy to fit and has compliance. You can see it in the gallery section on my steel bike. I have both the 27.2 and 31.6 versions.
After some of the awful posts I've had, which have been a bugger to fit, the Bonti's great.

i just saw the Canyon seatpost, pretty creative and offers 20mm movement! seems like the saddle positioning couldn't be easier too.

Token TK9143 carbon....$115 with shipping. I think the 31.6/350mm lists for 158g.

Sorry to wakeup an old tread
But i am searching for a carbon seatpost with zero setback for my Z5.. Im 62kg. I have looked at the new Zipp SL speed carbon with zero setback, but I can't find online store in europe which stocks it yet (anyone know?) . It's also not the lightest and while I want something as light or lighter as my current Neo seatpost (190g), I still want something where I don't have to fiddle with the clamps and the clamps have to work on carbon rails. The Neo works perfectly in that regard , but have been testing positions on my trainer and I would be better of with a zero setback verison.
from clamp to top of saddle is 230mm.. How much of the seatpost should be in the frame?
How is the newultimate EVO? Especially in terms of the clamps are they easy to use/make adjustments to?
I also would like to limit myself to around the €200-€250 mark..

not sure if it'll be within your budget, but the ax lightness europa is good, no issues with cf rails
once you get used to it, the clamp is easy to adjust, but at first it can be fiddly
you need to check ax's instructions to select the correct length of post

Maybe I should list what I have been looking at
Looks and function is also important, sofar I lean towards the Zipp:
http://www.zipp.com/seatposts/slspeed-c ... tpost--0-/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (claimed weight 175g) MRSP €264
Or if I can be convinced that the clamping on New ultimate EVO Carbon is any good maybe that one (wins on weight for sure)
http://bor-germany.de/en/product/51-new ... carbon-350" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Claimed weight 115g) €249
http://ax-lightness.de/en/cycling/bike- ... ts/europa/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Claimed weight 95 - 165 g +/- 5%) €298
Enve
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/env ... 087#select" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Claimed 190g €269
Mmmh listing them like that, just make me lean more towards the Zipp one. If I ever find a shop in europe that will sell it to me, lol.
