Ah, but it's not custom paint! A little bit more expensive but it's easily the prettiest IMHO.

Wow that is one gorgeous looking frame. I can't wait to see the finished bike.

Ha, I can't wait either! However, the Italians being the Italians will no doubt take their time - which is no bad thing seeing as my car made a very expensive noise when I tried to start it this morning :-(
However, as the US Airborne say: Adapt, improvise, overcome.
Here's another snippet I found on the net:

The rear of the seat tube, just like on my master xtra lite.

Lovely edition, will look forward to this build. Just be aware that the pic you found on the web, 'another web found photo of the frame' is actually the prototype (with extra airbrushed graphics) and not ADAR you will be getting, although I'm sure you already know this.

Yes, I was aware of the slight difference in paint. I'm hoping that it comes with a little more white on the three main tubes than on the photo of the complete bike I posted a few days back. Even so, it's going to be pretty, so I'm not complaining.
Also, it turned out that it wasn't the cam belt gone in the car so I've breathed a sigh of relief today. More money to spend on this beauty rather than a garage bill.
So, to today's addition to the component list:

A claimed 4.7g. I'll weigh it when it arrives. Cost me a mere £17 too!

Looks like this will be a gorgeous bike.

What skewers are those on the previous page?

Finally, I have the design cycles computer mount in my hands! It appears to be a 3d printed product but that's pretty cool, despite the 'layers' that one can easily discern. These could be easily removed with a bit of work with a fine abrasive but I'm not bothered one bit.

I'll weigh it & post some more photos later on this evening.

Just a test fit for the moment, but I'm super pleased with the design cycles garmin mount :-)

Oh, and it is 12g as advertised.

I picked up quite a bargain today, to hang on the frame when it arrives:

2010 NOS Super Record brake set. £122! I know that these lack the red decal & the easy to change brake pads, but at the price, I couldn't turn them down.

As I wait paitiently for the Italians to pull their fingers out & make my frame, here is this weeks web found photo of one they made earlier...
Image
Whilst I'm aware that this frame is like a Grölsch & therefore cannot be hurried, it is of no surprise that the Italians were joint runners up in WW2. Had Colnago been British, I'd have had it already but I'm glad they're taking their time :-)

Oh, whilst I'm about it, I'm thinking of updating the decals on my boras to match the frame better.
Should I:
A) leave them as they are (original G3 decals)
B) bora ultra 2 decals
C) bora ultra 2 dark label decals

Answers on a postcard please!
